In April 2026, through the Khanh Hoa province's petition portal, Mr. L.V. T (resident of Tay Nha Trang ward) said he encountered difficulties in the process of using driver's license information (GPLX) on digital platforms.
According to reports, Mr. T is currently a bus driver for a business in the area.
He has a D-class driver's license issued by the Department of Transport of Khanh Hoa province (old) on July 7, 2023, valid until July 7, 2028.
Although the driver's license has been integrated into the VNeID application, it only displays the driver's license grade, without information about the remaining score.
Meanwhile, on the VNeTraffic system, the data shows that the old GPLX (Category E) has expired. Mr. T said that he has proactively updated information on both systems but there are no results.
After that, he contacted many departments of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police but no unit directly received and resolved it.
This affects his work, Mr. T was temporarily dismissed by the business due to incomplete GPLX information, affecting his family income.
Before the citizen's petition, the Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police inspected and confirmed that Mr. T's D-class driver's license was still valid according to regulations.
According to this unit, the failure to display GPLX scores on the VNeID application and data not being synchronized on VNeTraffic is due to the process of synchronization and data standardization between management systems.
The Traffic Police Department also said that the above platforms are not under the direct management and operation scope of the unit.
However, this agency has proactively summarized, reported and requested the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) to support inspection and handling according to its authority.
At the same time, functional forces have contacted and guided Mr. L.V. T. Up to now, his GPLX score data has been fully updated on the system.
