On January 10, in Hanoi, Honda Vietnam Company (HVN) officially introduced the all-new Honda UC3 electric motorcycle model, and announced a new sales policy for the CUV e: model and plans to deploy a system of charging stations and battery exchange stations in Vietnam.
Honda UC3 is considered a new step for HVN in the strategy of electrifying two-wheeled vehicles. The car is aimed at urban users, possessing a minimalist, modern design with rounded lines, and a continuous horizontal LED lighting system. The car has two versions, three different colors, expected to be sold from June 2026 at HEAD electric vehicle stores.

In terms of operation, Honda UC3 uses an electric motor placed on the rear wheel, maximum power of 6 kW, maximum speed of 80 km/h. The car is equipped with a fixed LFP battery with a capacity of 3.174 kWh, meeting IP67 water resistance standard, for a travel distance of about 120 km after each charge according to WMTC standard. Full charge time of the battery is about 4 hours with a 1,200 W charger included. In addition, the car has 3 driving modes, CBS braking, reversing assist and a 5-inch TFT screen connected to the Honda RoadSync system.
Honda Vietnam said it will implement a policy of buying and refurbishing UC3 to reduce users' concerns about the value of electric vehicles after use. The purchase price is determined based on the actual condition and maintenance history.
Along with UC3, HVN announced a new sales policy for the high-end electric vehicle model CUV e:. From March 2026, CUV e: will have two options: selling a package with a battery at a suggested price of 65 million VND (including VAT) or selling a vehicle without a battery for 45 million VND, combined with a battery rental service of 250,000 VND per month.

In parallel with the product, Honda Vietnam began deploying the Honda Motor Charger Hub charging station system for UC3 and Honda e: Swap Battery Station for CUV e:. These stations are located at electric vehicle business HEADs in big cities, managed and paid for through the My Honda+ application. The charging station is expected to operate from June 2026, while the battery exchange station starts from April 2026.
According to HVN, expanding charging and battery exchange infrastructure is part of the roadmap towards the goal of carbon neutrality by 2050, while meeting the sustainable transportation needs in Vietnamese cities.
