The above content is stipulated in Clause 7, Article 26 of Decree 168 on penalties for violations of regulations on road traffic order and safety in road transport and road transport support services.
Accordingly, a fine of VND 5,000,000 to VND 6,000,000 shall be imposed on individuals and VND 10,000,000 to VND 12,000,000 shall be imposed on transport business organizations and transport support services that commit one of the following violations:
Failure to provide, update, transmit, store, and manage information and data from journey monitoring devices as prescribed;
Failure to comply with the information posted on the vehicle as prescribed;
Using a means of transport business without installing a vehicle tracking device (for forms of transport business that require vehicles to install the device) or installing a device that does not work, does not meet prescribed standards, or falsifies data from the vehicle tracking device;
Using passenger shuttle vehicles in violation of regulations;
Using drivers to operate double-decker sleeper buses, cars transporting preschool children and students without enough years of experience as prescribed;
Using a vehicle for passenger transport business under a contract without a transport contract, passenger list, equipment to access the content of the electronic contract and passenger list as prescribed, or having a transport contract, passenger list, equipment to access but not ensuring the requirements as prescribed, carrying people whose names are not on the passenger list or transporting the wrong subjects as prescribed (for vehicles for passenger transport business under a contract to transport preschool children, students, cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers);
Using a car for transport business without installing a driver image recording device as prescribed (for types of cars that are required to install a driver image recording device) or installing a driver image recording device but not recording or storing data on the car during the vehicle's traffic participation as prescribed or falsifying data of the driver image recording device installed on the car;
Failure to provide, update, transmit, store, and manage information and data collected from driver image recording devices installed on cars as prescribed;
Using a means of transport business with a term of use that does not guarantee the conditions of the registered business form.
In addition to the fine, additional penalties include revocation of the right to use the badge for 1-3 months (if any or already issued); deduction of 2 driving license points for vehicles violating certain points.
