Chiffon Try is the latest version in the Subaru Chiffon line. This model has 5 versions (L, G, R, RS and Try). The Chiffon Try version follows the off-road trend with a different appearance. However, the Chiffon Try is not suitable for harsh terrain.
The car is equipped with a 660cc engine with 3 cylinders reaching about 51 horsepower and 60 Nm of torque, CVT gearbox. Compared to other versions, Try has a more rugged design with a ground clearance of 150 mm. This parameter is higher than Subaru WRX, but still lower than Outback with 220 mm.
Chiffon Try is equipped with body panels and a more powerful front end design than other lines. The car has up to 11 optional paint colors, including a 2-tone option with a black roof.
The interior of the car features water-repellent upholstery and orange trim. The interior space is flexible thanks to the absence of a B-pillar; the sliding doors open in three ways (buttons on the door handles, buttons on the dashboard or sensors).
Chiffon Try is equipped with a driver's seat that can slide more than 530 mm, the front passenger seat can also move about 381 mm, almost fully pushed forward. The front passenger seat can also be folded flat, combined with a 50% reclining angle of the rear seat to create a comfortable position for the user.
In Japan, the starting price for the front-wheel drive version is $12,400, while the four-wheel drive version is around $13,100.
