Maybach used to be an independent super-luxury car brand before stopping production in 2012. After that, this brand was developed by Mercedes-Benz under the name Mercedes-Maybach. Therefore, Maybach 62S cars still in circulation today are considered valuable collected cars and are becoming increasingly rare in the market.
The number of Maybach 62S in Vietnam is currently not large. The car appearing in Da Nang has a white exterior, one of the rare tones on this super luxury sedan line.
Compared to the standard Maybach 62 version, the 62S version has many separate identification details. The most noticeable is the grille design with fewer spokes, creating a sportier and more modern appearance. The interior is completed according to high-class standards with many luxurious materials, and there is a partition between the cockpit and passenger compartment to increase privacy.
Maybach 62S has massive dimensions with a length of 6,165 mm, a width of 1,980 mm, a height of 1,575 mm and a wheelbase of 3,827 mm. This size is superior to many super-luxury sedans of the same period, providing spacious space for passengers behind.
Not only outstanding in luxury, the Maybach 62S also impresses with powerful handling. The car is equipped with a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V12 engine developed by Mercedes-AMG, producing a maximum power of 604 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm.
Thanks to that, the super-luxury sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4.5 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 250 km/h. Power is transmitted to the wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission, bringing a balance between operating performance and the characteristic smoothness of the super-luxury car line.
