The Windsor EV will be sold first in the Indian market, followed by other countries.
According to MG, the Windsor EV uses a 38 kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery with cylindrical cells that have an operating range of up to 331km when fully charged. The car is equipped with an electric motor on the front axle with a capacity of 136 horsepower, 200 Nm of torque, and 4 driving modes (including Eco+, Eco, Normal and Sport).
The battery supports 45 kW fast charging, allowing it to charge from 0-80% in just 55 minutes. MG also offers a 3.3 kW AC charger that takes around 14 hours to fully charge the battery, or a 7.7 kW charger that fully charges the battery in around 6.5 hours. MG offers the option of a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner, or a battery buyback option with a 60% guarantee after 3 years of use.
In addition, there is 1 year of free charging at public stations via the eHUB application.
Additionally, MG also offers low-cost prepaid and private battery rental packages.
The Windsor EV's interior features a 15.6-inch entertainment touchscreen that supports wireless connectivity. It also comes with an 8.8-inch digital display behind the steering wheel. The rear seats can recline up to 135 degrees, with integrated air-conditioning vents; the front seats are equipped with a ventilation system, and the driver's seat can be electrically adjusted...
The interior of the Windsor EV takes advantage of MG's electronic platform to maximize space with a flat floor and center console. The car is equipped with many safety features such as: ABS/EBD brakes, 4 disc brakes, electronic balance, front/rear sensors, 360 camera and 6 airbags.
According to the announcement, MG Windsor EV is sold in 3 versions: Excite priced at 16,000 USD (about 394 million VND), Exclusive priced at 17,400 USD (about 428 million VND) and Essence priced at 18,500 USD (about 455 million VND).
