People who used to buy VinFast gasoline cars were given up to 80 million VND when switching to electric cars

VinFast said it will give vouchers to people who have bought gasoline cars to switch to electric cars.

Informing Lao Dong Newspaper on July 2nd, VinFast said that the company has just announced a special customer appreciation program for owners of Fadil, Lux A2.0 and Lux SA2.0 gasoline cars purchased directly from the company, with support of up to 80 million VND when switching to electric cars.

Accordingly, customers will receive vouchers worth 30 million VND (Fadil), 60 million VND (Lux A2.0) and 80 million VND (Lux SA2.0).

The program is implemented from July 2, 2026, as part of a series of activities of the "Strong For a Green Future" campaign, aimed at promoting the trend of green transformation, reducing emissions and towards a more sustainable living environment.

Vouchers are identified by customer name and vehicle chassis number (VIN), valid until December 31, 2026.

VinFast said that this voucher will not be transferred. However, people can use it for relatives in the family or a company named by the owner when buying a new VinFast electric vehicle.

Each customer can receive a maximum of 2 vouchers at the highest value, and each time they buy a car, only 1 voucher is applied, and they still enjoy other promotions being applied.

Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang - Deputy General Director of Global VinFast Auto Sales said that the program is a thank you to customers who have accompanied the company from the early days, contributing to helping VinFast develop strongly and reach out to the international market.

According to her, this is also a step showing the commitment of businesses to accompany the green transformation process in Vietnam.

In parallel with the program for gasoline car customers, VinFast continues to implement many preferential policies for electric vehicles such as installment support with 0 VND of counterpart funds, direct 6-10% discount on car prices, free battery charging at the V-Green station system until February 10, 2029, along with warranty and after-sales policies that are considered among the best in the market.

Immediately after the information was announced, many customers who used to own VinFast gasoline cars expressed their interest and assessed this as a practical policy, making the transition to electric cars easier.

Mr. Lanh Van Huu - owner of a Lux A2.0 car in Hanoi - said that his car is still operating well, but he has intended to switch to an electric car to be more environmentally friendly. However, financial issues once puzzled him.

My car is still stable, but I want to switch to an electric car to contribute to environmental protection. Before, I still considered the cost, now with support, I feel more secure and have more motivation to change cars," Mr. Huu shared.

Meanwhile, Mr. Loc Xuan Thuong, from Tuyen Quang, currently in Hanoi, the owner of the Fadil car, said that he always supports Vietnamese goods and has chosen VinFast from the beginning.

As a Vietnamese person, I always support Vietnamese goods. I bought Fadil and am quite satisfied. When I learned about the policy to support switching to electric vehicles, I was very happy because this is a good opportunity to upgrade vehicles and also in line with current trends" - Mr. Thuong said.
