According to Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, car drivers will be fined 400,000-600,000 VND for the act of not complying with orders and instructions of traffic signs and road markings.
A fine of 600,000 - 800,000 VND will be imposed on drivers who violate by changing lanes in the wrong places or without a warning signal or changing lanes incorrectly according to regulations "each change of lane is only allowed to change to one adjacent lane".
If the driver of the car goes wrong and causes a traffic accident, they will be fined 20-22 million VND and deducted 10 points from the driver's license. With the above penalty level, drivers need to pay close attention to the error of going in the wrong lane and not complying with traffic signs and road markings.
