Bac Ninh traffic police said that from January 25 to February 2, 1 police officer will issue remote fines for cases of encroaching on lanes and pressing lines as follows:

According to Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, car drivers will be fined from 400,000 VND to 600,000 VND for the act of not complying with the orders and instructions of traffic signs and road markings.

A fine of 600,000 VND to 800,000 VND shall be imposed on drivers who violate changing lanes in the wrong place or without prior notice or changing lanes not in accordance with regulations "each time changing lanes is only allowed to switch to one adjacent lane".

If a car driver drives in the wrong way and causes a traffic accident, they will be fined from 20 million VND to 22 million VND and have 10 points deducted from their driver's license. With the above penalty level, drivers need to pay close attention to the offense of driving in the wrong lane and not complying with traffic signs and road markings.
