This convertible sports car impresses with its prominent lotus pink tone, rare on Porsche cars in Vietnam. According to records, the 718 Boxster has a light pink exterior combined with a blue folding roof, creating a contrasting, youthful and personality overall.
The Porsche 718 Boxster belongs to the generation with internal code 982, developed on a common platform with the 718 Cayman. This is a small convertible sports car, positioned in the high-performance roadster segment, aiming for a purely sporty driving experience but still suitable for daily use.
The 718 generation marks an important turning point for Porsche when the company decided to replace the 6-cylinder naturally aspirated engine with a 4-cylinder flat-turbo engine. At the same time, the name "718" is restored to evoke the legendary racing car that once brought victory to Porsche at the Targa Florio in 1959 and 1960.
The Porsche 718 Boxster was first introduced in January 2016 and launched to the public at the Geneva Motor Show 2016. The standard version is equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged engine, producing 247 horsepower and a maximum torque of 310 Nm. Thanks to that, the car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, with a top speed of about 260 km/h, while improving fuel consumption compared to the previous generation.
Currently, Porsche has stopped developing the 718 line using internal combustion engines to prepare for the electrification roadmap. Therefore, gasoline 718 Boxster models are becoming increasingly rare and are of interest to car enthusiasts, in the context that demand for traditional sports engine models is still high.
