Spotting many Porsche 911 cars appearing at the same time in Vietnam is not uncommon. However, the fact that the two generations 991 and 992 park next to each other, both being high-end and most powerful versions of the 911 line, is a rare sight.
The yellow Porsche 911 GT3 of the 991 generation appeared with the red Porsche 911 Turbo S of the 992 generation. These are all versions with very limited quantities in the Vietnamese market. Notably, the Porsche 911 GT3 991 has a yellow exterior, currently only recording one car appearing domestically.
In terms of performance, the Porsche 911 GT3 991.2 is equipped with a 6-cylinder top-to-top engine, naturally aspirated, 4.0L capacity, producing a maximum power of 500 horsepower and a maximum torque of 458 Nm. The car has two gearbox options including a 6-speed manual gear and a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox.
With a PDK gearbox, the Porsche 911 GT3 991.2 is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, 0.6 seconds faster than the manual version. Meanwhile, the manual version reaches a maximum speed of 318 km/h and weighs about 17 kg lighter than the PDK version.
Meanwhile, the Porsche 911 Turbo S 992 uses a 3.8L twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder engine, producing 640 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, an increase of 60 horsepower and 50 Nm respectively compared to the 911 Turbo S 991 generation. The car is equipped with an 8-speed PDK automatic transmission, combined with full-time 4-wheel drive, helping to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 330 km/h.
