According to Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, car drivers will be fined from 2,000,000 VND to 3,000,000 VND for the act of turning left/right, turning around in prohibited areas.
If the car driver goes wrong and causes a traffic accident, they will be fined from 20 million VND to 22 million VND and 10 points will be deducted from the driver's license. With the above penalty level, drivers need to pay close attention to the wrong turn left and wrong U-turn.
