In the Vietnamese market, the Rolls-Royce Dawn is one of the rarest super-luxury cars when only 2 units have been brought to the country. This is a high-end convertible car line of Rolls-Royce, noi bat with luxurious design and leading soundproofing technology.
The Rolls-Royce Dawn is developed from the platform of the Wraith coupe model, and shares many technologies with the Rolls-Royce Ghost. Unlike traditional convertibles, the Dawn is positioned as a convertible aimed at maximum comfort and tranquility - a characteristic of the Rolls-Royce brand.
One of the two Rolls-Royce Dawns in Vietnam that once appeared with a matte black exterior, blue folding roof and chrome-plated dual multi-spoke rims. Then, the car's appearance was changed with a more uniform black paint layer, highlighting the characteristic luxury of the British super-luxury car line. With a convertible design, Dawn allows users to easily open the roof to enjoy cool weather conditions, especially suitable for the year-end climate in the Southern region.
According to the company's announcement, Rolls-Royce Dawn is the quietest convertible model in the world at the time of launch. The car uses a soft folding roof, which can be completely opened or closed in about 20 seconds. Notably, this operation can be performed even when the car is moving, provided that the speed does not exceed 50 km/h.
Technically, the Rolls-Royce Dawn is equipped with a twin-turbo V12 engine with a capacity of 6.6 liters. This engine block produces a maximum power of 563 horsepower at 5,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 820 Nm from 1,500 rpm. Power is transmitted to the wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Thanks to the above powertrain, the Rolls-Royce Dawn is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4.9 seconds, before reaching a maximum speed of 250 km/h - a limit controlled electronically. This is an impressive parameter for a super-luxury convertible model with a large weight, focusing on smoothness and comfort during operation.
