Previously, at about 11 am on the same day, the working group discovered a passenger car with license plate 22F-005. XX moving on the highway at a lower speed than other vehicles in the same direction but not moving to the right lane as prescribed.
Electronic data collected by the task force showed that the passenger car was moving at a speed of about 60-63km/h on a distance of more than 3km.
Notably, in this journey, there are many sections where vehicles can switch to the right lane to give way to cars behind, but drivers still maintain moving in the lane adjacent to the median strip.
This behavior not only makes it difficult for vehicles behind to maintain speed, but also potentially creates dangerous traffic situations when vehicles have to find ways to change lanes to overtake.
The working group then made a record of administrative violation against driver T.V. L (born in 1986, residing in Tuyen Quang).
For the act of driving a vehicle at a lower speed than other vehicles traveling in the same direction but not going to the right lane in his direction, the driver was fined 900,000 VND and the driver's license was temporarily seized on the electronic environment according to regulations.
Previously, at about 10:40 am on September 20, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 1 also discovered and fined the driver of passenger car with license plate 15F-009. XX for running "turtle crawling" in the left lane of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway, affecting traffic flow on the route.
