Information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security on the afternoon of September 20, at about 10:42 am on the same day, the Traffic Police Team of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 1 - Room 6, Traffic Police Department during patrols on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway discovered a passenger car with license plate 15F-009. xx showing signs of violation.

Accordingly, the driver drove the car at a lower speed than other vehicles in the same direction but did not go to the right lane in the direction of travel.

Electronic data collected by the working group shows that this passenger car maintains a speed of about 60-63km/h in a distance of more than 3km. In many sections, traffic conditions allow drivers to switch to the right lane, but vehicles still move in the lane adjacent to the median strip.

The traffic police force then made a record of administrative violation against the driver of the above vehicle, P.Q. B (born in 1982, residing in Gia Vien ward, Hai Phong city).

According to the Traffic Police Department, for the above act, the driver was fined 900,000 VND and his driver's license was temporarily seized on the electronic environment according to regulations.

The Traffic Police Department said that in the past time, functional forces have repeatedly handled vehicles running slowly and prolongedly on the left lane, affecting traffic flow on the expressway.

The Traffic Police Department recommends that vehicle drivers when traveling on highways must comply with lane usage rules, proactively move to the right lane when driving at a lower speed than other vehicles in the same direction and traffic conditions allow.
