In the Porsche 911 product range, the GTS version is positioned between the Carrera S and GT3, focusing on powerful operation but still maintaining practicality for daily use needs. In the 991.2 generation, the number of 911 GTS rolling in Vietnam is not large, especially when most cars have been transferred or rarely appear on the streets.
In the domestic market, in addition to a 911 GTS 991.2 in Miami blue that was once known to car enthusiasts, the car that appeared this time has a black exterior, is considered a rare configuration and has good preservation status. For many collectors, this is considered one of the remaining 991 generation Porsche 911s with high usage and collection value.
In terms of appearance, the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS 991.2 stands out with its distinctive sporty design style. The car is equipped with large dual multi-spoke rims, accompanied by the Center Lock system - a detail commonly seen on high-performance versions of Porsche. The dark color of the rims and exterior details help the overall car exude a strong, street racing car style.
In terms of technology, the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS 991.2 uses a horizontal 6-cylinder Boxer symmetrical engine, 3.0L twin-turbocharged capacity. This engine is refined to achieve a maximum power of 450 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 550 Nm, an increase of 20 horsepower compared to the previous GTS generation.
Combined with a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox, the model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 310 km/h. Compared to the manual transmission version, the PDK variant provides a faster acceleration of about 0.4 seconds, while providing better fuel consumption, at about 8.3 liters/100 km according to standard conditions.
However, for a part of car enthusiasts, the manual transmission still brings a more pure driving experience, emphasizing the connection between the driver and the car - the factor that makes the long-term attractiveness of the 991.2 generation Porsche 911 Carrera GTS.
