In terms of design, the 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan has many similarities with the Tayron model in Europe. The front of the car is highlighted by slim headlights, connected by an LED light bar and a glowing logo. The wheels range in size from 17 to 20 inches, with the most popular version using 19-inch wheels. The rear of the car has also been redesigned with a slim light bar and a new rear bumper, with the difference being the vertical reflectors compared to the horizontal lights on the Tayron model.
The 2025 Tiguan's interior has been completely redesigned, with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.9-inch infotainment screen. A 15-inch screen is optional on higher-end models. One of the major improvements is the move of the gear lever from the center console to the steering column, increasing cabin space. The new center console is equipped with a multi-function knob, supporting volume adjustment, driving mode and ambient lighting system.
In terms of comfort, the car is equipped with embossed fabric seats, wireless phone charging and automatic air conditioning. Higher-end versions also have leather seats, massage, heating and ventilation, a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats. The car also integrates a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and wood trim.
The 2025 Tiguan is equipped with the IQ.Drive driver assistance system, which includes features such as adaptive cruise control, lane assist, emergency assist and blind spot warning. Other safety features include park distance control, exit warning and four new airbags, bringing the total number of airbags on the car to 10.
The 2025 Tiguan uses the MQB evo platform and is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 201 horsepower. Although the power is slightly increased by 17 horsepower compared to the previous version, the vehicle's weight is reduced by about 77 kg thanks to the use of lighter materials in the suspension system. These changes help improve acceleration and fuel economy.
