On September 23, information from the People's Committee of Thuc Phan Ward, the unit has just organized a working session with construction enterprises, transport units and related agencies about these units dropping rocks and soil, causing dust and environmental pollution.
At the meeting, the ward representative stated the situation of vehicles carrying soil, rocks, and materials scattered on the road, causing traffic insecurity and affecting the urban beauty.

Enterprises are committed to overcoming this by arranging settling holes and car wash bridges in areas adjacent to the road; cleaning tires and underpasses before circulation; spraying water to reduce dust regularly; and covering the vehicle's trunk carefully when transporting materials.
Chairman of Thuc Phan Ward People's Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan requested construction units and enterprises to strictly implement all regulations on environmental protection and traffic safety according to approved environmental records.
The head of the Ward People's Committee requested the police force and specialized departments to increase inspection and strictly handle the behavior of dropping materials and not washing the vehicle before going out.

The government also called on people to participate in monitoring and promptly reporting to jointly build a green - clean - safe urban area.
This move by Thuc Phan ward took place after Lao Dong Newspaper had many articles reflecting. Accordingly, people in Thuc Phan and Tan Giang wards have recently suffered from dust and sand from mineral construction and exploitation activities, especially in the area of Vo Nguyen Giap Street - the main traffic route of the province.
Actual observations show that many trucks carrying materials from Cai Chau sand mine as well as entering and exiting the new construction of Cao Bang Traditional Medicine Hospital, the construction of the bypass connecting Tan Giang - Thuc Phan ward and landfill No. 2 continuously drop sand and dirt, causing environmental pollution, seriously affecting people's lives.

Households along the Na Toong - Vo Nguyen Giap route have to endure dusty conditions in the dry season and mud in the rainy season, while some trucks are overloaded and have poor cover.
It is noted that on the road, every day there are dozens of trucks entering and leaving the mine, many trucks carrying overloaded sand, poorly covering the road, causing dust to cover trees and houses.
Not only sand trucks, some vehicles also go to this area to dump construction waste right next to Na Toong cemetery, causing the road surface to increasingly deteriorate and sink.
Ms. Dinh Thi Le (Thuc Phan ward) said that this road is degraded and dusty all year round. "It is extremely dusty in the sun, every time a truck carrying sand passes by, the dust rolls up and makes it difficult to breathe, but the eyes can't see anything" - Ms. Le lamented.

The Cao Bang Traditional Medicine Hospital Project has approved the Environmental Impact Assessment Report with clear requirements for pollution reduction measures such as spraying water, washing vehicles, collecting scattered sand and soil, etc., but most of these measures are ignored.
On the other hand, this hospital project is located right next to the concrete road to the No. 2 landfill and the Khuoi Kep area, so the number of trucks passing through every day is very large.
This leads to a lot of dust and mountain soil falling from the hospital area, scattered onto the concrete road, which will sweep the wheels of trucks and continue to fall, causing dust when these trucks move on Vo Nguyen Giap Street.
Similar situation also occurred at the project to build a bypass connecting Tan Giang - Thuc Phan wards, the dust from this construction site spread over a large area.
