On November 28, a representative of Rutech Livestock Joint Stock Company (Rutech Company) said that after the reflection of Lao Dong Newspaper and the participation of local authorities, the enterprise is urgently overcoming the limitations.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Ta Thieu Hien - General Director of Rutech Company said: "We are very grateful and acknowledge the reflections of the press and people. For the past 2 months, the enterprise has stopped raising pigs, relocating pigs and overcoming shortcomings and limitations".
According to Mr. Hien, the unit has installed additional automatic monitoring systems, automatic probiotics spraying systems for the barn area and environmental treatment systems. The quality of wastewater after treatment has ensured the standards for discharge into the environment.

In addition, during the environmental treatment operation, the company ensured the operating process according to the licensed license. At the same time, there is a daily log book, regular self-checking of samples to ensure environmental protection criteria.
"Currently, some licenses are still missing, the company is also completing them to ensure compliance with legal regulations" - said a representative of Rutech Company.

Also on November 28, speaking with reporters, Mr. Nguyen Cong Hung - Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Dinh Lap district said: "The company is continuing to complete the procedures according to regulations".
The move to overcome the above shortcomings was taken by the enterprise after Lao Dong Newspaper published a series of articles reflecting on the frustration and dissatisfaction of thousands of people in Lam Ca Commune, Dinh Lap District when being surrounded by the stench day and night from the pig farm invested by Rutech Company.
Accordingly, out of 17 villages in Lam Ca commune, 8 villages "cannot stand the stench from the pig farm". Of which, Pac Van, Binh An, Binh Giang and Binh Ca villages were most severely affected. The stench is so strong that it makes people feel uncomfortable when eating, not sleeping well, and children are scared when going to school.
At the same time that Lao Dong Newspaper published the articles, the People's Committee of Lang Son province directed the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (TNMT) and related units to inspect the pig farm of Rutech Company and discovered a series of violations.
Accordingly, in 2024, Rutech Company has not yet reported on the project implementation status according to regulations.
The enterprise also does not have a certificate of eligibility for livestock farming and has not declared outstanding livestock farming activities.
Rutech Company has not yet planted replacement forests when converting forest land use to other purposes according to regulations.
This unit has not completed the documents for completing the construction items. In addition, Rutech Company lacks a license to exploit underground water and does not have an environmental license.
Next, the People's Committee of Dinh Lap district also issued a document requesting the enterprise to relocate livestock and stop livestock farming activities until the project items are completed and all licenses are granted according to regulations before continuing to raise livestock.
Recorded on November 28, the entire pig farm is completely stopping livestock farming, the management enterprise is continuing to complete environmental items and related procedures according to regulations to continue implementing the project.
