Electronic medical records are considered an important solution to replace traditional paper medical records, helping to minimize errors in the diagnosis and treatment process. According to Dong Nai General Hospital, electronic medical records have been officially deployed at Dong Nai General Hospital. The goal is to replace paper records, optimize health care processes, increase transparency, reduce waiting time for patients and improve the quality of medical services, and especially ensure completion progress before September 30, 2025.
Up to now, electronic medical records have been performed for patients admitted to the hospital from the Examination Department, Emergency - Resuscitation Department, transferred to inpatient departments for treatment and discharged when the condition is stable.

Dr. CKII Ngo Duc Tuan - Director of Dong Nai General Hospital said: After success in implementing electronic medical records, the hospital will expand the scale to 100% of departments implementing electronic medical records, eliminating paper medical records.
Currently, Dong Nai General Hospital is also focusing on implementing a number of activities such as: Implementing a fixed voluntary blood donation point at the hospital, preparing to perform the first organ transplant, preparing to establish centers under the hospital, enhancing patient care services, applying high and modern technology, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Dr. CKII Le Quang Trung - Deputy Director of the Department of Health of Dong Nai province hoped that electronic medical records with modern tools, cashless payments, remote medical examination and treatment... would help improve expertise and have more time. However, it is necessary to remember that doctors, medical staff, patients and relatives always have an interactive relationship and must take advantage of electronic medical records to spend time caring for patients, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment. That is the precious thing!
Also at the announcement ceremony, the Board of Directors of Dong Nai General Hospital decided to commend and reward 10 collectives with many contributions to the successful implementation of electronic medical records at the hospital.
