There are 18 Health Stations participating in the final round. Each team will present 5 minutes of outstanding initiatives, improvements, and solutions that contribute to improving the quality of Health Station operations through the form of Poster/Infographic. The judges will score based on the form, content, explanation, and additional questions.
Previously, 80 Health Stations sent their Posters/Infographics to 9 District Health Centers. Each district selected 2 Posters/Infographics with the highest scores to compete in the final round.
The contest is an opportunity for units to exchange and learn experiences in professional work, strengthen solidarity, create a comfortable working atmosphere and environment, and enhance competitiveness in quality of operations between Medical Stations in Can Tho City.
Mr. Hoang Quoc Cuong - Director of Can Tho City Department of Health - said that this is the first time the health sector has organized the contest and is an opportunity for health stations to share experiences, initiatives and creativity.
The work of improving the Health Station in Can Tho is carried out under the direction of Directive No. 25-CT/TW dated October 25, 2023 of the Secretariat on continuing to consolidate, improve and enhance the quality of grassroots health care activities in the new situation, gradually turning health stations into places of primary and comprehensive health care for people.
"The Department of Health understands the difficulties of health stations, both managing 23 national health programs and providing medical examination and treatment to people. The Department of Health will continue to mobilize many resources from programs, projects, international organizations, etc. to support capacity building for health stations."
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to Thuan Hung Ward Health Station; Long Hung Ward Health Station and Tan Hung Ward Health Station shared the second prize; Xuan Khanh Ward Health Station, Thuong Thanh Ward and Nhon Ai Commune Health Station won the third prize, along with 12 consolation prizes.
