The leader of the Ha Nam Provincial Department of Health added that according to the regulation, when examining, including the anesthesia and resuscitation process for any patient of the opposite sex, there must be a third person who is a medical staff of the same sex as the patient in that room.
"Whether Hanoi - Dong Van General Hospital terminates the contract with Dr. Vu Duy C or not, this hospital will still have to bear responsibility for the incident that occurred at this hospital. The Department of Health has requested this hospital to report the incident but has not yet received a response," said the leader of the Department of Health of Ha Nam province.

On April 14, the Investigation Police Agency of Ha Nam Province Police received a criminal complaint from a citizen about being harmed and assaulted by a hospital doctor while going to see a doctor at Hanoi - Dong Van General Hospital (in Duy Hai Ward, Duy Tien Town, Ha Nam Province).
After receiving the crime report, the Investigation Police Agency, Ha Nam Provincial Police focused on investigating, verifying and clarifying the incident.
