From the beginning of 2023 to August 2024, the Department of Health has fined 18 private medical examination and treatment facilities, 17 drug retail establishments, 4 drug wholesale establishments, 31 cosmetic service establishments, and 2 medical equipment business establishments. The total amount of fines is more than 1.4 billion VND.

In addition to issuing the penalty decision, the Da Nang Department of Health invited the owners, managers, and professional managers of private medical and pharmaceutical establishments to discuss, guide, and disseminate legal regulations in the field of medical examination and treatment and private medicine and pharmacy.

Guide and support organizations and individuals in the private medical examination and treatment and pharmaceutical sectors to carry out administrative procedures electronically in accordance with regulations.

The Department of Health also organizes training for private clinics and laboratories on environmental protection law enforcement and medical waste management.
