According to the construction plan, Hung Yen Provincial General Hospital has a modern architectural space, invested in facilities and advanced technology equipment. The hospital is planned to be built in Pho Hien ward, divided into 3 sub-areas, including: medical examination and emergency block; inpatient block; technical and emergency resuscitation block with a scale of 1,500 beds.
At the meeting, delegates discussed the architectural plan; hospital location; project implementation time and progress.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc - Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee - emphasized the role and significance of deploying the construction of the Provincial General Hospital with a scale of 1,500 beds. In addition, suggesting the architectural design plan of the Hospital in a modern direction, but it is necessary to preserve the unique identity of the area, in harmony with the urban architectural plan of Pho Hien.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the province is determined to make the project implemented and put into operation soon. Requesting the consulting and design unit to plan the construction area of the Provincial General Hospital into a medical center complex of Hung Yen province, aiming to become a medical center of the Red River Delta region. The Department of Construction coordinates with the Department of Health and relevant departments, branches, and units to fully prepare the conditions for the project to be started in 2026.
