Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee - Vu Thu Ha has just signed a Decision approving the project to renovate and upgrade Thach That District General Hospital, in Kim Quan Commune, Thach That District.
According to the decision, the project to build a general hospital with a scale of 500 beds (350 newly built beds and 150 renovated beds) meets the criteria of a grade II general hospital according to Decision No. 1895/1997/QD-BYT on promulgating hospital regulations of the Minister of Health.
The hospital has 29 specialties and 6 functional rooms, with modern facilities, advanced equipment, a team of highly qualified doctors and nurses, and professional service quality to meet the needs of medical examination, treatment, and health care for the people.
This is a Group B project, civil works, level I, invested in by the People's Committee of Thach That district, including investment in new construction and renovation of construction items such as a 2-storey surgical department; a 2-storey emergency resuscitation department ; a 2-storey conference hall; and a 2-storey internal medicine department.
2-storey pediatric ward; 2-storey nutrition ward and liquid waste collection system ward; 6-storey technical building - Building C, total floor area of about 17,442 m2; 7-storey inpatient treatment area - Building D, total floor area of about 20,712 m2.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the investor - the People's Committee of Thach That district to be responsible before the law for the accuracy of the volume, budget; the results of structural calculations and the legality of the documents submitted for approval; the capacity of the organizations and individuals conducting the survey and project preparation.
Organize the preparation and submission for approval of construction drawing designs and estimates to ensure compliance with planning, synchronous connection of technical infrastructure, optimization of economic and technical aspects of the project, savings and efficiency; and to avoid waste and loss of investment capital.
Project management and contractor selection shall be carried out in accordance with current regulations of the State and Hanoi City on management of construction investment projects using State budget funds, on bidding and contractor selection. Carry out investment monitoring and evaluation reports and coordinate community monitoring in accordance with current regulations.
