On December 20, Binh Thuan Provincial Police announced that the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (PC04) of Binh Thuan Provincial Police had coordinated with professional units to successfully destroy a large-scale drug case.
After a period of monitoring and implementing professional measures, PC04 ambushed and arrested subject T.V.T (born in 1999, residing in Phu Thuy ward, Phan Thiet city) while transporting 2 kg of drugs while passing through National Highway 55 in Tan Nghia town, Ham Tan district.
During the investigation, subject T.V.T confessed that he was hired by an unknown person to transport the drugs from Ho Chi Minh City to deliver to another person in La Gi town for 5,000,000 VND. Based on T.V.T's statement, the police continued to arrest T.D.T (born in 1991, residing in Binh Tan ward, La Gi town), who was carrying 470 million VND waiting for T.V.T to receive the drugs.
Currently, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Binh Thuan Province Police is coordinating with professional units and relevant local police units to continue to expand the investigation of the case.
