On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the enthusiastic atmosphere spread across the country. In the highland villages, the joy of the people seems to have multiplied many times.
Under the direction of the Government, local authorities and police forces have simultaneously deployed the giving of gifts worth 100,000 VND to each household. Although the amount of money is small, in the eyes of the people of the mountainous areas, it is a "Quoc Khanh" - a gift symbolizing the attention of the State, to make the big holiday more complete.
On the morning of September 1, in Go Khanh hamlet (Kim Boi commune, Phu Tho province), it was still raining heavily, but the yard of the hamlet's cultural house was bustling with laughter. People gathered together in large numbers, everyone was happy and splendid.

For many people, especially the elderly in Muong land, on the occasion of National Day on September 2 this year and this meaningful gift will probably be mentioned many years later with excitement and pride.
Mr. Bui The Yen holding 500,000 VND from 5 members of his family in hand, emotionally shared: "Receiving gifts on National Day makes us even more proud to be citizens of the country. The amount is not large, but it is a concern, a reminder that the Party and State always remember the people of the mountainous areas."
Sharing the same sentiment, Ms. Bui Thi Huong said: "On a big holiday, I feel very happy to receive gifts from the government. This new piece of money is even more valuable than its value, because it is a heart, an encouragement. When the whole family receives gifts and raises the national flag, it feels solemn and joyful as a festival.
Bui Thi Huong Lan expressed: "Although 100,000 VND is not much, people all understand that to have peace today, it is thanks to the blood and bones of the previous generation."
That atmosphere also spread to the border areas of Lang Son. These days, border residents eagerly come to receive National Day gifts.
Ms. Vi Thi Hang (Dong Dang commune, Lang Son province) shared: "A hundred thousand is not much, but it is a joy that we cherish. This is an affection, a recognition, making people feel they are not forgotten on a big holiday.
