On the morning of May 2, the Criminal Police Department of Binh Thuan Province Police said that after 60 minutes of investigation, they had arrested a robber with sophisticated calculations on the way to escape.
The victim, Mr. N.V.T, was sitting in a park in the center of Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province when his phone was snatched by a thief and he ran away.
Receiving the news, the Criminal Police Department of Binh Thuan Province sent reconnaissance teams to coordinate with the police of neighboring wards to search the subjects. Only 60 minutes after receiving the news, the police zoned and caught the killer and material evidence in Phan Thiet city.
Through initial statements, the subject is Le Ngoc Khai (residing in Phu Tai ward, Phan Thiet city). Immediately after committing the crime, Khai quickly ran into small alleys and changed his clothes to avoid being chased. At the police station, Khai admitted all of his crimes and had a previous conviction for theft.
The case is being further investigated by the Criminal Police Department.
