On June 14, Quang Ninh Provincial Police informed that the Investigation Police Agency of the Provincial Police had just issued a Decision to prosecute a criminal case, prosecute the accused and execute a temporary detention order against Hoang Thuy Dien (born in 1983, residing in Hung Dao Ward, Dong Trieu City; current residence in Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City) for illegal drug trafficking.
According to the police, previously, at about552 on June 6, the Working Group of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police coordinated with the Hong Hai Ward Police (Ha Long City) to conduct an administrative inspection at house number 18, lane 15, group 1, area 7A, Hong Hai Ward, and discovered and caught Hoang Thuy Dien red-handed in hiding 3.555 grams of crystal meth.
At the investigation agency, the subject confessed to being the director of a private enterprise in Ha Long City. Due to business losses and business near bankruptcy, Dien came up with the idea of buying and selling drugs to make a profit.
Subject Dien rented a separate room as a place to use and trade drugs, in order to conceal his crime.
Currently, the case is being further investigated and expanded by the Investigation Police Agency of the Provincial Police.
