Previously, through reconnaissance, at 0:05 on December 15, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Quang Nam Provincial Police coordinated with Tam Ky City Police to raid and inspect the Diamond Club bar, located at 83-87 Truong Chi Cuong Street, Hoa Thuan Ward, Tam Ky City.
Through inspection and drug testing of 143 people present at the bar, the police discovered 17 cases positive for drugs. Continuing the investigation, the police force determined that 12 out of the 17 cases had engaged in illegal drug trafficking and use.
At the scene, authorities seized 0.94 grams of ketamine, many drug paraphernalia and other related evidence.
The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police has detained 12 subjects to investigate the act of buying, selling, and organizing illegal use of drugs, and handed over 5 cases of illegal use of drugs to the Tam Ky City Police for handling administrative violations.
Diamond Bar is a location where Quang Nam Police have discovered many cases of illegal drug use in recent times. The case is under further investigation.
