The seized exhibits included 1kg of Ketamine; 1.2kg of powder suspected to be used to mix the drug "happy water", about 200 plastic bags with the brands Ferari, Lamborghini, Crispy Fruit, Rolls used to contain the drug "happy water", 01 electronic scale and some other related exhibits.
Previously, through the investigation of the situation, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Da Nang City Police discovered a subject named Quoc, nicknamed "Godfather", residing in Ho Chi Minh City, with suspicious signs of transporting drugs to Da Nang and Thua Thien Hue province for sale. Conducting verification, the police discovered that Quoc had 3 criminal records, 1 previous conviction for crimes such as "robbery", "illegal drug trafficking"...
To have money to spend and drugs to use, Quoc continued to fall into the "old rut". Because he was a big shot, always in the "sights" of the police agency in Ho Chi Minh City, the subject shifted his activities to the Central region to avoid being tracked and monitored. Quoc connected with subjects from other provinces, mainly in the Da Nang area and Thua Thien Hue province to transport and supply drugs for consumption there.
At 8:00 p.m. on October 12, at Km23+500 National Highway 14B in Hoa Nhon Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang City, when the car carrying Quoc and the above drugs had just passed the highway toll station and was speeding towards National Highway 14B, the working groups of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department in coordination with the Technical Department, Hoa Nhon Gate Traffic Police Station suddenly approached. At this time, when the police gave the command, the car driver not only did not comply but also accelerated to overtake... However, this situation had been predicted in advance, so when approaching, the detectives quickly used professional measures to suppress and control the subject, not giving him a chance to resist according to the plan...
At the police station, despite the clear evidence and physical evidence, plus the fact that he tested positive for drugs, Tran Bao Quoc still firmly denied the crime. However, with sharp arguments, along with collected documents and evidence, Quoc later admitted his actions.
