The results and report clearly state that up to now, the whole country has 644 social housing projects implemented with a scale of over 580,100 units.
Of which, the number of completed projects is 96 projects with a scale of more than 57,600 units; the number of projects that have started construction is 133 projects with a scale of more than 110,200 units; the number of projects that have been approved for investment is 415 projects with a scale of more than 412,200 units.
To strive to achieve the highest socio-economic targets according to the Resolution of the National Assembly, in 2025, the Prime Minister requested that all levels and sectors continue to focus on drastically and effectively implementing the tasks and solutions set out in the Conclusions of the Central, National Assembly and Government, focusing on emphasizing key solutions.
In particular, on the development of social housing, ensuring social security, all levels and sectors continue to implement Directive No. 34-CT/TW dated May 24, 2024 of the Secretariat, striving to complete over 100,000 social housing units by the end of 2025.
Effectively implement the Resolution on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for social housing development after being approved by the National Assembly. Continue to research and establish a "National Housing Fund" to develop affordable housing in large cities, social housing, and housing for young people under the age of 35.
