On June 12, the inter-sectoral working group handling land violations in Phu Cat commune (Hanoi) coordinated with functional forces to dismantle violating works on agricultural land in Dong Ha village.
The violating construction of Ms. T.T. L's household (born in 1948, residing in Team 2, Dong Ha village), was built on land plot No. 62, map sheet No. 58.
The project has a scale of building brick walls, not roofed, construction area of about 93.5m2 (size 18.7m x 5m).
Previously, through reviewing and grasping the local situation, the inter-sectoral working group of the commune discovered that Ms. T.T. L's household arbitrarily built works on agricultural land without permission from competent authorities.
Immediately after detecting the violation, the Task Force proceeded to make a record of the scene, requesting to immediately stop construction activities; and at the same time organized propaganda, mobilization, and explanation of the provisions of land law to help households understand the violation and proactively restore the original state of the land plot.
After a process of propaganda and mobilization, Ms. T.T. L clearly recognized the violation and agreed, voluntarily coordinated to dismantle the project to remedy the consequences and bring the land plot back to its intended use.
Due to the family's lack of manpower and means to carry out the dismantling, the household has requested support from the Commune People's Committee.
Based on the citizen's request and to ensure that the dismantling takes place safely and in accordance with regulations, Phu Cat Commune People's Committee has arranged forces and vehicles to coordinate with the family to dismantle the project according to the plan.
The process of dismantling violating works takes place publicly, ensuring safety and in the correct order. The thorough handling of violations demonstrates the locality's determination in state management of land; and at the same time shows the effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization, contributing to raising people's awareness of law compliance and limiting violations in the area.
