The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a decision to adjust and supplement the 2025 land use plan of Cau Giay district, adding 7 more works and projects with a total area of over 5.4 hectares. Including 4 new transport infrastructure projects, concentrated in Mai Dich, Nghia Do and Dich Vong Hau wards.
The road from Tran Vy Street to High School at the land plot marked F/High School 1, Mai Dich Ward, with an area of 1.75 hectares, will be built in sync with the public high school approved at the beginning of the year.
In Nghia Do ward, there are three new routes including: 13.5m road leading to Nghia Do Kindergarten ( Facility 3), opening alley 20 Nghia Do street to Xuan Tao street (extended Nguyen Van Huyen) and Xuan Thuy street next to HITC building to Ma Khay culvert.
Previously, in the 2025 land use plan approved at the beginning of the year, Cau Giay District had 22 projects, with 6 notable traffic projects.
Of which, two new routes are approved for construction, including: The project to build a road connecting the Cau Giay District educational complex to the extended Hoang Quoc Viet road (use area of 0.09ha), and the project to build a road connecting Hanoi College of Mechanical Engineering to the extended Hoang Quoc Viet road (0.17ha). Both of these projects are located in Mai Dich ward, registered by the People's Committee of Cau Giay district.
The list also includes a number of projects to expand and renovate existing routes that play a role in connecting inter-wards and inter-districts. Notably, the project to renovate and expand the road from Nguyen Co Thach (lane 25.5) to lane 2 of Le Duc Tho Street with an area of 0.19 hectares. This project is scope of implementation in both Cau Giay and Nam Tu Liem districts, implemented in the period of 2024 - 2026 according to the approval decision of the People's Committee of Nam Tu Liem district. Cau Giay District will coordinate to implement the project.
In Yen Hoa ward, two small-scale traffic renovation projects are also included in this year's land use plan, including: the project to renovate and expand lane 381 Nguyen Khang (from Thanh Thai street to Nguyen Khang street) with an area of 7.40ha (recovering 0.37ha); and the project to renovate the road connecting Trung Yen 6 street to Nguyen Khang street (0.09ha, recovering 0.02ha). These routes not only help increase smoothness between main streets but also relieve local congestion in densely populated areas.
Another large-scale project that has been included in the land use plan since previous years and continues to be implemented is the project to build a road connecting Cau Giay Street to Dich Vong new urban area, with a total area of up to 2.15 hectares. This project was approved by the City in 2017, with the progress adjusted in early 2024, and is expected to be completed in 2025.
According to the request of the City People's Committee, Cau Giay District must ensure the public disclosure of the land use plan, implement the land recovery progress correctly and report the implementation results before October 15, 2025.
