On May 29, information from the provincial Department of Construction said that it had coordinated with the consulting unit to prepare a dossier for detailed urban planning tasks at a scale of 1/500 for the commercial service center and residential area in Long Duc commune, Long Thanh district, with an area of over 77 hectares and a population of 12,000 - 30,000 people.
The proposed functional zoning structure includes public works areas, residential areas, green areas, transportation and technical infrastructure systems.
This is a project included in the 2025 land use rights auction plan in Dong Nai province.
The goal of this planning research is to promote the socio-economic development of Long Thanh district and Dong Nai province, while also taking advantage of Long Thanh airport and key transport routes, along with orienting the construction of the area into a model urban center, promoting the process of sustainable urbanization, the residential area is expected to become an important highlight in the renovation of Long Thanh town.
