The Ring Road 3.5 project from Phuc La - Van Phu to Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway has a total length of about 10.7km, passing through the areas of Kien Hung, Phu Luong wards, Dai Thanh, Ngoc Hoi, Thanh Tri and Nam Phu communes.
The starting point intersects with Van Khe street, the ending point connects to the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway and connects to Ngoc Hoi bridge. The total investment of the project is about 13,016 billion VND.
This is a key traffic project of particular importance to the socio-economic development of the southern area of the Capital.
In Dai Thanh commune, the project has a large scale of site clearance (GPMB) with a total recovered land area of about 34.58 ha related to 1,296 households and about 300 graves located within the project implementation area. It is expected that about 219 households will have to be resettled with an expected area of 1.75 ha.
For Thanh Tri commune, the total recovered land area is about 47.62 ha related to about 1,360 households and about 160 graves located within the project implementation area.
It is expected that about 668 households will have to be resettled with an area of about 12 hectares.
Nam Phu commune is implementing the recovery of 7.58 ha and Ngoc Hoi commune is 12.11 ha of land located within the project boundary.
Up to now, the unit performing the surveying work has basically completed the handover of survey data, maps and related dossiers to the Economic Departments of Dai Thanh, Ngoc Hoi, Thanh Tri, Nam Phu communes to serve the work of reviewing the current status, confirming the origin of land and implementing the next steps in the process of preparing compensation, support, and resettlement plans according to regulations.

Dai Thanh Commune People's Committee said that in the coming time, the commune's working groups will continue to go to each household to notify the policy, inventory assets, review legal documents and develop compensation, support, and resettlement plans in accordance with the law. The implementation process is determined to ensure publicity, transparency, democracy and the right subjects.
Along with that, local authorities will strengthen dialogue and listen to people's opinions to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles arising, avoiding affecting project progress.
Thanh Tri commune also identified the site clearance for the Ring Road 3.5 project as an important task, requiring the synchronous involvement of the entire political system, especially the consensus and support of the people.
Mr. Vu Hoai Son - Vice Chairman of Thanh Tri Commune People's Committee - emphasized that propaganda and mobilization work needs to be widely deployed, ensuring that people understand the State's guidelines and policies as well as the rights and obligations related to land recovery.
Mr. Son requested members of the site clearance task force and propaganda and mobilization team to continue to stick to the area, strengthen dialogue, and promptly answer people's petitions; and at the same time implement the correct procedures and regulations of law in the process of task implementation.
When completed, Ring Road 3.5 will contribute to completing the capital's framework transportation network, strengthening regional linkages, reducing pressure on inner-city roads, creating strong momentum to promote urban development, trade, services and improve land use value in the Southern Hanoi area.
