On December 16, for the first time, Bac Ninh province organized a dialogue conference with more than 600 union members of 4 mass organizations including the Farmers' Association, the Provincial Labor Federation, the Provincial Women's Union, and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the province.
At the Conference, there were 19 direct questions and recommendations from officials, members, and union members of 4 political organizations sent to leaders and representatives of departments and branches of Bac Ninh province.
Among them, there are many important and outstanding issues such as: policies to support social housing and workers' housing; expanding the scale of schools in localities bordering industrial parks and clusters and increasing the level of support for workers' children studying in non-public educational institutions; electricity prices in workers' dormitories; solving environmental pollution in craft villages and residential areas; digital transformation issues...
Responding to the petition, Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyen The Son affirmed that Bac Ninh always creates learning conditions for workers' children.
In the coming time, based on approved plans, the education sector will focus on expanding the scale of schools and classrooms in localities bordering industrial parks and clusters and densely populated areas.
Regarding the proposal to increase the support level for children of workers working in non-public educational institutions to at least 150% of the tuition fees of public schools, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh said that they will continue to coordinate with the Labor Federation, provincial departments, branches and localities to advise and report to competent authorities to develop support policies to ensure fairness, suitability and harmony among learners in educational institutions in the province.
Regarding the field of digital transformation, Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized: The province identified digital transformation as one of the breakthrough solutions for development in the new period by 2025.
In 2025, the province will deploy many smart utilities through digital transformation such as digital signatures for citizens under 60 years old; free wifi coverage in Tu Son city, Bac Ninh city; piloting 50% of electric buses, smart buses on the Bac Ninh-Luong Tai route.
In the coming time, the province will start construction of multi-utility smart urban areas and concentrated information technology zones to create breakthroughs in development.
Acknowledging and praising the enthusiastic, responsible and practical suggestions and opinions of the delegates at the dialogue, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized that these are important issues that are of concern to the people and the whole society, and at the same time requested relevant departments, branches, units and localities to answer the questions at the dialogue within 5 days at the latest.
3 urban area projects worth tens of thousands of billions in Bac Ninh
Recently, Vingroup Corporation proposed to invest in the Northwest New Urban Area project (Bac Ninh City), with a total investment capital of more than 44,500 billion VND.
Sungroup Corporation also proposed investing in two urban area projects in Tu Son City and Tien Du District with investment capital of VND11,091 billion and VND17,180 billion, respectively.
In September, Phu My Hung's member company was also approved by the province to invest in a 27,000 billion VND urban area in Thuan Thanh town.
