Bac Ninh builds policy to attract high-quality doctors

Bac Ninh is building a policy to attract and provide incentives for doctors working in public health care units.

The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just sent an official dispatch to the Department of Health. Accordingly, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assigned the Department of Health to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to draft the Resolution, advise on the issuance of the above Resolution according to the procedures of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents and related legal regulations; Review and evaluate the quality of human resources of the entire health sector to advise and propose appropriate policy beneficiaries.

"Policy development must closely follow the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies and be consistent with the province's actual situation; research support levels to match other issued attraction policies, ensuring that the issued policies are truly a driving force to attract high-quality doctors to work in the province," the document stated.

Recently, many localities across the country have issued policies to attract high-quality doctors and medical staff to work locally.

In Quang Ninh, the Provincial People's Council has issued a Resolution regulating policies to attract doctors to work in a number of units in the province until 2025. Accordingly, doctors working in Quang Ninh can receive support of up to 750 million VND.

In Lai Chau, on July 13, 2023, the People's Council of Lai Chau province also issued a Resolution on policies to attract high-quality human resources and preferential treatment policies for doctors working at public health service units in the province.
