The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued an official dispatch on asking for opinions from the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security on the dossier proposing to approve the investment policy for the project of a shopping mall complex and high-end apartments in Ngo Quyen ward, Bac Giang city (now Bac Giang ward, Bac Ninh province).
Accordingly, the project is located on Nguyen Van Cu Street, Bac Giang Ward.
The project has an area of 8,793 m2, with an estimated population of about 1,300 people. The maximum construction height is 29 floors above ground and 2 basements.
Current status of land: Current status of the land is the old headquarters of central agencies and provincial agencies: Provincial People's Procuracy; Provincial People's Court; Department of Justice; Provincial Radio and Television Station; has been converted by the Provincial People's Committee for residential land use purposes.
Estimated total investment: VND 1,219,000,000. The project's operation period: 50 years from the date the competent authority issues the land allocation decision.
To carry out the work of appraising the project investment policy, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province respectfully requests the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security to give opinions on appraisal of issues related to national defense and security for the project investment policy approval proposal dossier according to relevant regulations.
Bac Ninh is one of the industrial capitals in the North, concentrating a series of FDI giants in the fields of technology equipment manufacturing, electronics, and semiconductors.

Transport infrastructure in Bac Ninh is changing strongly. Gia Binh International Airport (Bac Ninh) started construction in December 2024 with a total area of nearly 1,900 hectares.
According to the plan, the airport will be basically completed and initially put into operation from the end of 2026 to serve the APEC 2027 summit.
Hanoi City has also agreed on the plan to build a nearly 50km, 120m wide road connecting Gia Binh Airport with the center of the capital.
