Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Dao Quang Khai signed and issued 3 Decisions on the establishment of industrial clusters.
The first is the Tam Da - Dung Liet 2 industrial cluster (Yen Phong district) with an area of about 51.1 hectares, invested by An Binh Construction Company Limited in the construction of technical infrastructure with a total investment of about 873 billion VND.
Second is Lac Ve Industrial Cluster (Tien Du District) with an area of about 45.5 hectares, invested by Dabaco Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company in the construction of technical infrastructure with a total investment of about 502 billion VND.
The third is Phu Lang Industrial Cluster (Que Vo town) with an area of about 75 hectares, invested by Vinaconex Bac Ninh Group Joint Stock Company in the construction of technical infrastructure with a total investment of about 1,068 billion VND.
Bac Ninh has the advantage of being in the key economic triangle of Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh and is the northeastern gateway of the capital Hanoi.
The province currently has 15 industrial parks and 37 industrial clusters, with more than 2,600 operating enterprises.
Along with the implementation of the Central policies, Bac Ninh province has issued many favorable policies to promote investment attraction and industrial development.
Bac Ninh's FDI attraction in 2024 and the first quarter of 2025 will lead the country.
Transport infrastructure in Bac Ninh is changing strongly. Gia Binh airport in Xuan Lai commune and Gia Binh town, Gia Binh district, Bac Ninh province has just started construction at the end of last year.
The Prime Minister agreed to upgrade the construction of Gia Binh airport to international scale, from level 3C to level 4E.
Hanoi City has also agreed on the plan to build a nearly 50km, 120m wide road connecting Gia Binh airport with the center of the capital.
