On August 23, Binh Tien Ward People's Committee said that it had just organized a working delegation to visit and meet households that had agreed and handed over the site early, creating conditions for the implementation of the Binh Tien bridge and road project.
On this occasion, some households that handed over the entire house ahead of schedule were awarded 50 million VND in prize money by Binh Tien ward.
According to Binh Tien Ward People's Committee, the commendation is implemented according to Decision No. 11/2026/QD-UBND of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
Accordingly, households and individuals who hand over land ahead of schedule are rewarded a maximum of 50 million VND if all land is recovered; in case of partial recovery, a maximum bonus of 25 million VND is awarded.
For organizations (excluding state agencies and administrative and non-business units), the maximum bonus is 100 million VND/organization.

Binh Tien Ward People's Committee assessed that in the process of implementing compensation and site clearance, the locality received active coordination and consensus from many households. The early handover of the site contributed to accelerating the progress of the key traffic project, creating conditions for the project to be implemented according to plan.
The locality hopes that this consensus spirit will continue to spread, thereby mobilizing the remaining households to soon complete the handover of land.

Binh Tien bridge and road project (section from Pham Van Chi street to Nguyen Van Linh street) passes through Binh Tien, Phu Dinh, Binh Dong wards and Binh Hung commune.
The total investment of the project is nearly 6,300 billion VND, including 2 component projects.
In which, component project 1 has a total investment of more than 3,369 billion VND, requiring the recovery of about 21.27 hectares of land, affecting 389 households.
Component project 2 is the construction of Binh Tien elevated road and bridge, with a total investment of more than 2,915 billion VND and started in July 2026.
The main route is about 3.66 km long, built in the form of a viaduct, 30 - 40 m wide, arranged with 4 - 6 lanes. Below is a parallel road more than 3.3 km long, scale from 2 - 6 lanes.
In addition to the main route, the project also builds branches connecting with important traffic routes such as Vo Van Kiet, Binh Dong, Hoai Thanh, Ta Quang Buu and Nguyen Van Linh.

When completed in 2028, Binh Tien bridge and road are expected to become one of the important radial traffic axes of Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to sharing pressure for existing roads and shortening travel time from the central area to the southern area of the city, including Hiep Phuoc port area.
The project also strengthens connectivity with Ring Road 2, Ring Road 3 and Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City, expands the inter-regional traffic network and creates more momentum for urban development.
