Many old apartment buildings in Hanoi are being sold for more than 4 billion VND/unit

According to Lao Dong, many old apartment buildings in Hanoi are currently being offered for sale at high prices. Many places have even recorded prices of up to 4 billion VND/unit - equivalent to the price of many new apartments in suburban areas.

In particular, at G1 Trung Tu apartment complex, Kim Lien ward, an apartment with an area of 60m2 is being offered for sale at 3.7 billion VND, equivalent to 61.67 million VND/m2.

At Thanh Cong apartment complex, Giang Vo ward, a 40m2 apartment is priced at 3.9 billion VND, or more than 97 million VND/m2.

A collective house in Kim Ma collective housing area with an area of 75m2 is being offered for sale at VND4.85 billion, equivalent to VND64.67 million/m2.

Referring to this issue, Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Real Estate Brokers (VARS) - said that the price of old collective apartments is constantly increasing due to scarce supply and constantly climbing apartment prices. The land price list in Decision 71/2024/QD-UBND continues to be applied in communes and wards after the arrangement in Hanoi.

According to the transitional regulations in Decision 40/2025/QD-UBND with the following contents:

- Regulate a number of contents under the authority of the City People's Committee on determining specific land prices in Hanoi issued with Decision 55/2024/QD-UBND to continue to apply the administrative boundaries of districts, towns and cities before the arrangement in communes and wards after the arrangement.

- Classify communes in the Regulations attached to Decision 61/2024/QD-UBND to continue to apply the administrative boundary of districts, towns and cities before the arrangement in communes and wards after the arrangement. See more...

Inspectorate investigates the case of more than 260 hectares of land occupied by Gia Lai Coffee Company

On July 10, speaking with Lao Dong, the leader of the Gia Lai Provincial Inspectorate said that this agency had inspected the Chu Se Branch - Gia Lai Coffee Joint Stock Company's report on the situation of people in Chu Se commune (Gia Lai province) arbitrarily occupying more than 260 hectares of agricultural land and garden of enterprises, for illegal profits over the past many years.

According to the leader of the Gia Lai Provincial Inspectorate, this case has lasted for many years and was previously inspected and clarified by the old Gia Lai Provincial Inspectorate. After the merger (from July 1), the new Gia Lai Provincial Inspectorate has received the case file and is continuing to inspect.

"More than 260 hectares of the above land are under the management of Gia Lai Coffee Joint Stock Company. People's arbitrary occupation is not in accordance with regulations. However, to clarify the incident, it is necessary to wait for the conclusion from the inspection agency, the Provincial Inspectorate is continuing to handle. The incident arose from the signing of a contract between the company and local people," he said.

Revoking the document on the use of Bao Dai tower in Nha Trang as public housing

On July 10, the leader of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Monuments Conservation Center (under the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa) confirmed that he had revoked the document sent to Khanh Ha Investment Joint Stock Company - the investor of the Cau Da villa project (Nha Trang ward) regarding the use of Vong Nguyet villa as a public housing.

In the previous document, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Monuments Conservation Center will temporarily house 2 rooms at the Vong Nguyet villa of the Cau Da Villa Relic Site to accommodate Mr. Nguyen Van Linh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Mr. Le Xuan Loi - Deputy Director of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Monuments Conservation Center.

These two officials both came from Ninh Thuan province (old) to Khanh Hoa to work.

However, after issuing the document, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Monuments Conservation Center found some shortcomings. Therefore, this unit has revoked the above document.

The revocation of the document is appropriate because currently, the cultural sector is finalizing the investment proposal for the Cau Da Villa Relic Restoration Project.
