Apartment prices increase sharply, young customers are under pressure
Due to the lack of supply, apartment prices are flat, even exceeding the average of townhouses.

Proposal to reduce interest rates for loans to buy social housing
According to the draft amendment to the regulations on purchasing social housing, the lending interest rate will change.

The Ministry of Construction submitted a dossier to appraise the Decree amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 100/2024/ND-CP dated July 26, 2024 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Housing Law on the development and management of social housing.
One of the notable points in the draft is the regulation amending and supplementing Clause 4, Article 48 as follows:
The lending interest rate is 5.4%/year. The overdue debt interest rate is equal to 130% of the lending interest rate.
In case it is necessary to change the lending interest rate, assign the Social Policy Bank to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Construction and relevant units to submit to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision".
Explaining this issue, the Ministry of Construction said that currently, the interest rate for social housing loans according to Decree No. 100/2024/ND-CP is at an interest rate of 6.6%/year (equal to the lending interest rate for poor households prescribed by the Prime Minister in each period). Gia Lai auctions the starting price of over VND1,190 billion for prime land in Quy Nhon
On September 20, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province auctioned a land plot of more than 3.16 hectares to implement the Quy Nhon Commercial and Tourism Service Apartment Project.

This land was previously a real estate facility of Quy Nhon College of Technology, currently in Quy Nhon Nam ward.
Located on the coastal road of An Duong Vuong, the land is considered a prime land in Quy Nhon. The starting price for the auction is more than 1,193 billion VND, with a land use term of 50 years.
According to the decision, the land will be divided into many items. Of which, the area of over 1.5 hectares is for apartment buildings combined with trade and services; the land area for construction is 6,209m2. The entire project is expected to have about 2,704 apartments.
The project implementation progress is 2 years from the date of the land allocation decision of the Provincial People's Committee. If investors are slow to implement or do not complete on schedule, they will be handled according to regulations. See more...
