Lack of supply, housing prices continue to increase rapidly
The continued scarcity of housing supply along with the rapid increase in house prices is making it increasingly difficult for many people in need to find a place to live.

According to data from Batdongsan.com.vn, over the past 5 years, apartment prices in Ho Chi Minh City have increased by an average of 46-60%, currently reaching about 60 million VND/m2. According to CBRE's report, in the second quarter of 2025, apartment prices in the core area of Ho Chi Minh City (old boundary) will average 82 million VND/m2, an increase of 7% compared to the previous quarter and 29% compared to the same period last year. Newly opened projects recorded an average price increase of 10-13% compared to the previous period.

Gia Lai removes obstacles, speeds up progress of FLC Hilltop hotel and townhouse project
On July 12, Mr. Nguyen Huu Que - Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - requested departments, functional agencies and Dien Hong Ward People's Committee to remove obstacles in legal procedures, speed up the progress of the FLC Hilltop Gia Lai Hotel, Supermarket and Commercial Townhouse Complex project.

Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, the FLC Hilltop Gia Lai High-end Hotel, Supermarket and Commercial Townhouse Complex project was located on Nguyen Van Cu Street, Dien Hong Ward. The project started in the third quarter of 2019 and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2021.
However, many items of the project are still unfinished and unfinished. The area planned to build Dam San Square is overgrown with wild grass. Some villas are under construction in the rough outside; the construction site is deserted, with only about 57 workers pouring foundations to build and plant trees.
It is known that the Commercial Hotel and Townhouse Complex project on Nguyen Van Cu Street is implemented on an area of 3.1 hectares with a total investment of more than 760 billion VND.

A real estate project is being accelerated for investment and construction next to VSIP II Industrial Park, Vinh Tan Ward - Ho Chi Minh City.

On July 12, Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park Joint Stock Company (VSIP) said it was speeding up the implementation of the Sun Casa Square real estate project in Vinh Tan ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
The project area is planned on an area of over 13 hectares, building 574 commercial townhouses. Each apartment has a land area of 5x20m (100 m2), a construction floor area of 175 m2, a structure of 3 floors and 1 attic.
