On July 12, Mr. Nguyen Huu Que - Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - requested departments, functional agencies and Dien Hong Ward People's Committee to remove obstacles in legal procedures, speed up the progress of the FLC Hilltop Gia Lai Hotel, Supermarket and Commercial Townhouse Complex project.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, the FLC Hilltop Gia Lai High-end Hotel, Supermarket and Commercial Townhouse Complex project was located on Nguyen Van Cu Street, Dien Hong Ward. The project started in the third quarter of 2019 and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2021.
However, many items of the project are still unfinished and unfinished. The area planned to build Dam San Square is overgrown with wild grass. Some villas are under construction in the rough outside; the construction site is deserted, with only about 57 workers pouring foundations to build and plant trees.
It is known that the Commercial Hotel and Townhouse Complex project on Nguyen Van Cu Street is implemented on an area of 3.1 hectares with a total investment of more than 760 billion VND.
The project was widely advertised on leaflets and online with the content such as: "Located in a prime location on the main road of Nguyen Van Cu, in the center of the mountain town..." to attract investors to participate.
According to the inspection results, there were errors in planning and construction during the project implementation.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Que - Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue a document directing Dien Hong Ward People's Committee to review the detailed construction planning for the project.
The construction must comply with the zoning plans approved by the Provincial People's Committee. Completion time is before July 12, 2025.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Dien Hong Ward to proactively research, determine, develop plans and solutions to speed up the project implementation progress; complete the dossier and report to the Provincial People's Committee before July 30, 2025.
