On May 28, the People's Council of Binh Phuoc province held the 24th session (special session) of the 10th term, 2021-2026.
At the meeting, the People's Council of Binh Phuoc province reviewed, discussed and agreed on the project to adjust the urban development program of Dong Xoai city until 2040.
Also at the meeting, the Provincial People's Council agreed to add 40 projects that need land acquisition in 2025 with a total area of 25,671 hectares. Agree to adjust land use indicators by 2030 to implement potential industrial parks in the province.
In particular, adjusting in the direction of reducing indicators of urban land, traffic land, irrigation and other types of land, creating land funds for increasing land indicators for industrial parks.
Accordingly, it will adjust to reduce 1,800 hectares of land for energy projects, reduce 1,600 hectares of land for traffic projects, reduce 1,500 hectares of land for irrigation works, and reduce 351 hectares of land for urban residential areas. Increase 5,251 hectares of industrial park land (from 7,584 hectares to 12,835 hectares).
Reorganizing inspection agencies
The People's Council of Binh Phuoc province also agreed to reorganize inspection agencies in the province. Arrange and streamline to one unit on the basis of ending the activities of district inspectors and department inspectors, reorganizing into organizations under the provincial inspectorate.
