On June 19, the Ministry of National Defense coordinated with the Military Command of Khanh Hoa province and Khanh Vinh Group to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the project to invest in building houses for families of armed forces in the army at land area HHO-35, Nam Nha Trang ward.
This is the first key social housing project in the country to be implemented and for the armed forces, with a total investment of about 4,960 billion VND.

When completed, the project is expected to meet the housing needs of about 8,300 officers, soldiers and families.
The project is implemented according to Resolution No. 201 of 2025 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for social housing development.
Previously, at the beginning of 2026, the Ministry of National Defense had a decision approving the investment policy, and at the same time assigned the investor to implement the project at land area HHO-35, Nam Nha Trang ward.
According to the approved plan, the project is built on a land area of more than 21,487m2, directly connected to Vo Nguyen Giap street and the synchronous technical infrastructure system of My Gia Urban Area.
The project includes 5 34-story buildings and 1 basement, with a total construction floor area of about 318,520m2. After completion, it will provide about 2,776 apartments, including 2,221 apartments for armed forces families in the army and 555 commercial apartments.
In addition to housing items, the project is also synchronously invested in commercial centers, kindergartens, community centers, green systems, children's playgrounds, health gardens, multi-purpose sports fields, electric car charging stations and technical infrastructure and landscape works.
The project also applies smart operation management solutions to improve the quality of life for residents.
The project investor is KVG Housing Investment and Development Joint Stock Company - a member of Khanh Vinh Group.
The business said it will focus resources on implementing the project on schedule, ensuring project quality and fully complying with legal regulations.
According to the plan, the project will be implemented immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony and is expected to be completed and handed over for use in 2028.
The project is expected to contribute to solving housing needs for officers, soldiers and families of the armed forces, realizing the policy of developing social housing of the Party, State and Ministry of National Defense.
