Can Tho City People's Committee has just issued a decision on approving the outline and cost estimate for the 1/2,000 scale zoning plan for O Mon Port (1/2,000 scale zoning plan for seaport clusters, inland waterway wharves and service warehouses in Phuoc Thoi Ward and Thoi An Ward, O Mon District, Can Tho City).
Accordingly, O Mon Port is limited to Phuoc Thoi Ward and Thoi An Ward (O Mon District, Can Tho City). The North borders Hau River and O Mon Thermal Power Plant; the South is agricultural land being cultivated; the East borders O Mon Thermal Power Plant and Dang Thanh Su Street; the West borders cultivated agricultural land and O Mon River.
The scale of the project is about 77.99ha, implemented in 2025. Can Tho City Department of Construction organizes construction planning and appraisal. Can Tho City People's Committee approves the construction planning and approves the estimate.
The capital for construction planning is public investment capital. The estimated cost of establishing an interim construction plan including value added tax is VND 586.21 million. The estimated cost of establishing a temporary construction plan is calculated as a basis for cost management, when settling based on the accepted products according to current regulations on construction planning and other relevant regulations.
