The Ring Road 3.5 project, the section from Phuc La - Van Phu to the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway, has a total length of about 10.7km, passing through wards and communes including: Kien Hung, Phu Luong, Dai Thanh, Ngoc Hoi, Thanh Tri, Nam Phu.
The starting point intersects with Van Khe street, the ending point connects to the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway and connects to Ngoc Hoi bridge. The total investment of the project is about 13,016 billion VND.
The road is designed with 6 lanes for motorized vehicles and a parallel road system on both sides, with a cross-section of 60 - 80m.
On the route, many items will be built such as Song Nhue bridge, Hoa Binh bridge, To Lich bridge, Dong Tri - Dong My bridge and overpasses at the National Highway 1A and Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway intersection.
When completed, Ring Road 3.5 will contribute to completing the capital's framework transportation network, strengthening regional linkages, reducing pressure on inner-city roads, creating strong momentum to promote urban development, trade, services and improve land use value in the Southern Hanoi area.
In Thanh Tri commune, the project has a large scale of site clearance with a total recovered land area of about 447,000m2, related to about 1,360 households and about 160 graves located within the project implementation area.
It is expected that about 668 households will have to be resettled with an area of about 12ha. This is a difficult task, requiring the drastic involvement of the entire political system and especially the consensus and support of the people.

Mr. La Van Huy, Chairman of Thanh Tri Commune People's Committee emphasized: The implementation of the Ring Road 3.5 project not only opens up a new development space for the locality but also contributes to building a civilized and modern urban appearance, improving the quality of life for people.
In the coming time, the working groups of Thanh Tri commune will directly go to each household to notify the policy, inventory assets, review legal documents and develop compensation, support, and resettlement plans in accordance with the law, ensuring publicity, transparency, democracy and the right beneficiaries.
At the same time, local authorities will strengthen dialogue, listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles arising in the project implementation process.
In Nam Phu commune, to serve the site clearance for the project, on May 5, Nam Phu Commune People's Committee announced the policy of land recovery to more than 250 households in 3 villages: Viet Yen, Tu Khoat and Tuong Chuc.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen - Director of the Investment and Infrastructure Project Management Board of Nam Phu commune, in the coming time, the commune's working groups will directly go to each household to notify, inventory assets, review dossiers and develop a draft compensation and support plan in accordance with the law.
At the same time, the commune will maintain public information channels, strengthen dialogue according to specific case groups to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles arising during the implementation process.
The locality's point of view is to both ensure the project implementation progress according to the city's direction, and pay special attention to the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the people. All contents related to site clearance work will be carried out publicly, transparently, and in accordance with regulations," Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen emphasized.
