On April 3, information from Dak Lak Provincial Police said that the unit had just actively coordinated to organize site clearance, successfully reclaiming more than 742 hectares of illegally encroached forestry land.
Previously, in 2011, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee leased 1,165.2 hectares of land in Sub-area 293 of Cu M'lan Commune to Anh Quoc Company Limited to implement a rubber plantation, forest plantation, forest management and protection project.
However, the project was not effective, so the company stopped implementation. This company loosens management, letting people go into timber exploitation, deforestation, land encroachment, illegal trading and transfer.
Faced with the above situation, on February 27, 2017, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to reclaim all land leased to Anh Quoc Company Limited and hand it over to the Cu M'Lan Commune People's Committee for management.
According to the administrative violation records established by the People's Committee of Cu M'Lan commune, currently Sub-zone 293 has 134 cases of encroachment on 981.7 hectares of land.

In order to create consensus among the people, in recent times, working groups of the Dak Lak Provincial Police Department have coordinated with the Commune and Town Police and working groups of Ea Sup District to each house to encourage people to return the encroached land.
Up to now, 115 encroached households in Sub-area 293 have voluntarily agreed to return their land. On March 28 and 29, the People's Committee of Ea Sup district implemented site clearance of 742.05 hectares.
Of which, there are 227.37 hectares of illegally grown perennial crops, 259.47 hectares of annual crops and dismantling 33 illegal hutts and hutts.
Dak Lak Provincial Police also mobilized forces and means to coordinate with functional units of Ea Sup district to deploy plans to ensure security and order.
